Otway to replace rainforest with state-of-the art VR tree experience

New state-of-the-art VR experience to replace the rainforest.

Melbourne – Thursday 1 April 2021: Otway Fly Treetop Adventures is delighted to announce today – 1st April – that we will be creating a brand-new virtual reality experience that will replace the Treetop Walk!

Construction will commence today with tree removal and creek drainage to prepare for the giant 30,000 square metre centre dedicated to an immersive VR experience. Using state-of-the-art technology, the new VR centre will have visitors feeling like they are walking through an actual rainforest.

“We want to honour the heritage of the ancient giants of the Otway Ranges with our new VR and share the message of conservation,” said a spokesperson ahead of the land clearing from 1st April."
